James Margolis Acoustic

James Margolis is an NYC based musician with roots in the Philadelphia area.  James enrolled at Berklee College of Music in 2008, and dropped out after three semesters.  After cutting his teeth on the Philadelphia live music scene, he moved to NYC in 2012 and quickly began assimilating himself into the open mic circuit.  James has now played countless shows at venues in NYC and has traveled to play shows all across the eastern seaboard.  In addition to being a musician, James is a sound engineer, having worked the soundboard regularly at multiple venues around NYC.  He also engineered and produced two albums in 2017: “Longest Road Home” by the Travelers, and “What Matters” by Carissa & the Voodoo Lillies.  With the release of his 2nd album, “Live Fast Die Young” in 2018, James has been touring steadily, doing solo acoustic shows along the east coast.  He continues to play shows and write songs, with no sign of stopping any time soon
