Join us at The Barn in Harper's Ferry Saturday March 17th for a day full of Irish Shenanigans.
Live Music, Story telling, Irish Soda bread competition, Red Head competitions and Best Irish costume. Along with Irish Pub Trivia means it's sure to be a lively time.
Full Bar including Guinness and Irish Whiskey galore.
Kegs & Eggs kick off the event from 11am-1pm.
As you gather bring your best soda bread, the voting will transpire at 11am with the winner being announced by 4pm.
2-4pm Live Irish Music from Harper's Ferry local story teller and Celtic musician Rick Garland. He lives in Harper's ferry with his wife and son where he hosts The Harper's Ferry Ghost Tours, Historical reenactments and Live music performances.
Rick's "O' Be JoyFull" Celtic Show is a dynamic, foot stomping, high energy mix of wonderful traditional Pub Songs, Love Songs, & Rebel Songs* along with historical stories of the Irish and the Scots, as well as an occasional American, or other more contemporary song, or Rock & Roll tune, just like you would see and hear in many of the best Pubs in Ireland!
4-5pm Embrace your locks and grab your families, the red head competition begins!
5-6pm is Irish trivia with a $20 bar credit for the winning table.
6-8pm Canal House Cafe will be here selling Irish Food.
Irish native and former NC Irish Events Founder Annie Britton-Nice will MC the day's events. Born and raised in a small village in County Armagh N. Ireland Annie has recently made Harper's Ferry her home as Inn Keeper at Ledge House along with her daughter Roxanne. She is looking forward to being involved in the community and hosting more Cultural events with The staff at The Barn.
